Biography Douglas JEN, Brazilian Guitarist (SUPREMA - Power Prog Metal) is in the high point of his musical career. Besides to play Heavy Metal, he work in a solo and instrumental project (to be released at first semester of 2010), he does workshops and masterclass for the whole Brazil, and always search new challenges acting as studio musician, producer and sideman of several musical styles. He has great prominence for their didactic video lessons in Youtube (overcoming the 400.000 accesses), for beginners guitarists until the most advanced, where explains in a simple and clear way so that any musician can understand their lessons! He played in great Brazilian bands, as UNIÃO (to which recorded EP "Underground Religions", and the Music and Video Clipe of the "Sou brasileiro, sou Brasil!", theme of the World Cup of Football in 2006 to ESPN Brasil Channel), Dark Avenger (in 2005), and with Glory Opera in their Brazilian Tour in 2008. He also had a great international visibility, when being in 10th place in the popular voting of the world contest GUITAL IDOL 2008 (London), a contest that gathers guitarists of all of the world! In Sep.2009 showed in the Expomusic (International Meeting of the Music) his first Guitar Method (Alternate and Sweep Picking), and in the moment he is at studio beginning the recordings of the new SUPREMA album, to be release in 2010. Visitas: |
